Being lazy is a feeling that we all have experienced in our lives probably. During our holidays, on a Sunday morning or on a day off, we all know how it feels to stay in bed, stay in our pyjamas and be lazy for a day. Being lazy is awesome, since we are always busy. But laziness can have an opposite, down side as well; when laziness becomes the standard and everything starts to feel heavy, costing lots of effort and lacking any joy. I have let laziness become the standard and I am currently experiencing the negative side effects of it. Find out what it is doing to me, why I hate to be lazy and what I am trying to do to get rid of this terrible feeling in this week’s blog.
“The Big Apple, The City that Never Sleeps, The Capital of the World, The Empire City or New Amsterdam” A city with many nicknames, but with one universally known one: New York City. Many music artists, such as Frank Sinatra and Alicia Keys, have dedicated world famous songs to this amazing city and after I visited it for the first time, I know why people talk about this city so much. Find out why I love New York, where I think you should go and some hidden gems I found in this week’s blog!
What do you believe? Do you believe in God? Allah? The Universe? The Big Bang? Or are you a non-believer? “Follow your dreams”, “Dream big and you’ll get there”. Sayings that are easier said than done. How do you even dream (big)? Where do you start? How can you ever reach something as intangible as a dream?
Sharing the dreams you have accomplished is something relatively easy to do. Something our society is very keen on nowadays. People use their Instagram to show of their highlight reels, to show how awesome their lives are. The goal? Show how extraordinary you are and try to inspire people by pushing them to dream big, follow their heart and emphasize that the results will follow. Delusional? I think so. The intentions might be good, but the message is often wrongly understood. It is causing a lot of insecurity, fear and self doubt.
However, after my first dream has come true (joining the Business Leadership Program at LinkedIn), I believe there is a way to reaching your dreams! I believe dreams can and will come true! Find out why below.
